Midget AA Update

The Midget AA had a tremendous experience on November 3, 2018, playing Team China in Vaughan. It was an NHL format of a 15 minute warm up with three twenty minute periods. Our fifteen skaters and two goalies (who split the game) gave it their all?, coming out on top 2-0. Although it was a very spirited match, in the end, the teams joined for a centre ice photo and a dinner after the game. This win for our Midget AAs came after a successful weekend in Detroit in the Two Nations Cup where they finished with three wins and a tie after regulation play, which put them tied for second out of 34 teams from all across North America including teams from Alaska to Anaheim. Ultimately after the tie breaker rules, the Midget AAs played for the bronze and were edged 2-1 by Belle Tire in 3 on 3 overtime. Way to Go Avs!
