Moments after the Canadian Jrs won gold in the Czech Republic, our very own Ancaster Avalanche Atom A Girls won gold against the hometown favourites in the Scarborough Sharks 36th Annual New Years Classic. In a thrilling overtime win with four aside, the Atom As defeated the Scarborough Sharks 2-1 proving yet again that Nothing Stops An Avalanche...not even a team of sharks!
