Welcome to our new players and Welcome back to our returning players! Here are some details on how we will start our house league season:
AAGHA House League Players and Families
The House League season is just around the corner, and we
are excited to announce the Mass Evaluation/Practice Schedule. The purpose of
these on-ice sessions is to provide coaches and volunteers with the opportunity
to see all House League players in action. This will help them build teams that
are balanced in skill, ensuring a fun and successful season ahead.
Here’s what to expect:
Mass Evaluation/Practice Sessions:
- The first two
sessions will focus on evaluating player skills. Coaches and volunteers will
observe all players to form tentative teams.
Tentative Teams:
- Tentative
teams will be formed after the second session on September 14th.
Scrimmage Day:
- On September
21st, these tentative teams will participate in scrimmages. Based on the
scrimmage results and what coaches and volunteers observe on the ice, there may
be adjustments to the team rosters to achieve balanced teams.
Player Responsibilities:
For Returning Players:
-Use these
sessions to shake off any rust and get back into the rhythm of the game.
For New Players and Families:
- This is a great
opportunity to meet your teammates, coaches, and other families, and to get
familiar with the league.
**Important Reminder:**
Please make every effort to attend **ALL THREE SESSIONS**
to ensure that teams are accurately evaluated and balanced. Your participation
is crucial for a fair and enjoyable season for everyone.
