U18B Coaching Announcement!
The Ancaster Avalanche are excited to welcome Corey Clanfield as the Head Coach of the U18B Ancaster Avalanche for the 2026-2027 season and Terry Brush as the U18B Assistant Head Coach!
Corey grew up in the Hamilton area, playing minor hockey in both Hamilton and Dundas. He has been part of Ancaster hockey for many years with his sons in the boys’ house league system, and youngest daughter recently with Avalanche U15B. Corey brings 14 years of coaching experience and a genuine love for the game that he hopes to pass on to every team he’s a part of. From Corey: “My coaching philosophy is simple: team success over individual success. I work to create a positive environment and build a strong, healthy locker room. From there, I encourage players to play for each other. I believe that when you set players up for success and they commit to putting in the effort, they will not only achieve success but also grow their love for the game.” Corey looks forward to a fun and competitive 2026/27 season, building new friendships and strengthening existing ones with our staff, players, and their families.
U18B Assistant Coach: Terry Brush joins Corey as U18B Assistant Coach. Terry played junior hockey for the Dundas Blues and then in his hometown Flamborough Sabres. He also played university football at Mac and inter county baseball for the Hamilton Cardinals. Terry loves sports and enjoys sharing what he knows about hockey with the girls he has coached over the past few years.
Welcome Corey & Terry! We look forward to having you lead the U18B Ancaster Avalanche this upcoming season!
