U13BB Ancaster Avalanche 2025-26 Season Team Information
Welcome to the Ancaster U13BB team tryouts! I am excited for a season filled with growth, competition, and team spirit.
As coach I look to hold the Players, Coaches and volunteers to high standards, following the AAGHA Code of Conduct and the City of Hamilton Zero Tolerance policy. Respect, commitment, and communication are key to the Team’s success. Players are expected to prioritize practices and games while balancing extracurriculars and school success.
Our season includes local and away tournaments, with development sessions to sharpen skills. Goalies receive dedicated training support, and additional team ice time will be secured. Team gear is provided and noted below, along with proper attire is expected at games and practices.
Financial contributions include registration and scheduled installment payments. Sponsorship and fundraising efforts help enhance team experience, ensuring we invest in development and camaraderie.
My coaching philosophy is simple: create a supportive, competitive, and fun environment where players grow as athletes and individuals. With a strong leadership team and exciting events planned, this season is set to be unforgettable.
I encourage all players to work hard, play hard, and do your best —on and off the ice! 🏒🔥
· All Players, parents, team staff and coaches are expected to have read, understand and comply with the AAGHA code of conduct & the City of Hamilton Zero Tolerance policy.
· There will be zero tolerance for any negative behavior. This will result in team level consequences and/or initiation of the AAGHA Disciplinary Policy.
· Always follow the 24-hour rule.
· Team Snap or WhatsApp will be used for Team communication.
· The expectation is that players will be at all practices. If a player is unable to make the practice, communication is key. We need to know as soon as possible so we can decide to have AP (Alternate Players) attend in their place.
· All players are encouraging to participate in extracurricular activities, especially school teams and other disciplines; a variety of experiences are important for the development of the players. It is important, however, that this hockey team remains a top priority.
