World Girls' Ice Hockey Weekend Oct 5th & 6th
On October 6th, many of our Ancaster Avalanche girls experienced the magnificence of the First Ontario Centre, and the hospitality of our friends at the Hamilton Bulldogs and two local female hockey stars. It was the World Girls' Ice Hockey Weekend, and in addition to Sarah Nurse and Laura Fortino providing a hockey clinic to Ancaster and Hamilton area Atom B hockey players, the Bulldogs staff hosted both of our Bantam BB teams in a head-to-head exhibition game. Immediately following these events, the Hamilton Bulldogs hit the ice for their game against the Kingston Frontenacs. It was a memorable day indeed for players, coaches, staff, and parents who were able to come out and enjoy this experience.
