Why attend this meeting?
All AGM meetings are important because the Board needs a mandate from the membership and the AGM is your opportunity to approve the mandate. This meeting is especially important because we will consider proposed changes to our Association Constitution, in addition to voting for open 2024-2025 Board roles. If you cannot attend in person, you are allowed to designate a proxy who can vote on your behalf.

We've been very fortunate every year to have a team of dedicated volunteers who have made our Association one of the best girls hockey associations in all of Ontario. Each year brings new challenges. You will learn, you will grow, and you will be giving back to your community. And let's face it - volunteering also looks great on a resume! Have a look at the volunteer page and see if there is a role that interests you. Let's get you onto the ballot! For the 2024-2025 season, the following positions will be vacant. All other positions are currently filled, however, all positions are open for nomination every season at the AGM as per the constitution. For the office of the Director-President, Director-Vice-President or Director-Secretary, the individual must have, at some point in time, continuously served at least one full term on the Board of Directors of the Corporation.

Deadline for nomination submissions

Per policy adopted by the Board of Directors, nominations must be received via this form no less than 72 hours prior to the start of the AGM meeting. If a nomination has not been received for a given position in time, then nominations for that position will be accepted from the floor during the meeting.
